"The best we can do is to be really aware of all the pain in the world"... It's immensely hard to do that... for me, as someone who is in Ukraine... I know that people of my country are seeking shelter and fleeing from horrifying things, and they surely deserve all the help they can get. But at the same time, I realize that refugees from other countries probably were experiencing the same, and they should not be treated as someone who is less worthy of support. There's still so much inequality and suffering around the world, and the terrors of war are surfacing all of that. I just hope that we as humanity will be able to find necessary resources to help everyone who is in need, and reorganize our societies in a more compassionate and nurturing way to thrive in unity. Thank you, Gabor, for your work

I feel deep compassion for those in war zones, those people who are homeless here in UK and have been for years...so my ? Is...how come now people offer homes for refugees yet those same people despised the homeless in their own local community...???

Gabor you really have spelled it out for so many of us through Zeitgeist up to Wisdom of Trauma. We need to see each other as ONE and resist fearful manipulation and oppression as best we can. Sending prayers and love to all those suffering from US imperialism and NATO and world bank crimes.

I think we live in low level warzones everyday....I don't in any way wish to demean what people in Ukraine are going thorugh or other places where such horrific crimes are happening and people having to leave their homes and be shot and terrible war crimes ...but I can't help but see how everyday so much of our daily social life seems to consist of quite alot of petty one up personship and little power plays and back stabbings and just everyday meanness and cruelty.

I wonder if we can manage to live more harmoniously with each other and not get pulled into our lowest common demominiator which is easy to do when our ego feels threatened never mind our life or childrens lives or losing our homes etc.

Sometimes its the everyday squabbles and, meaness that can get you down and people think or thought "oh this could never happen again here in Europe ..or we are too civislised for such things.." but really I think alot of the time this is all just under the surface waiting to come out and it just takes certain circumstances as happened in Ukraine and before we know its descended into a nasty war with people acting out some of the grimest behaviours.We all like to think we are above it but I'm not so sure...I think very very few are able to keep their humanity when push comes to shove.

I agree with Susan Sontag who said she thought about 10% of the population had real integrity and a moral compass that could noto be swayed and 10%at the bottom who you could say were sociopathic and about 80% where it could go either way and they could be swayed one way or the other...I'd like to think we could all be better especially under duress but sometimes I just not so sure.
