The problem I see is that cases like this, where it is clearly obvious that the authorities are wrong, results in rightful compensation to the victims which is ultimately paid by the tax payer. There is no real accountability for wrongful behaviour. That needs to change.

In the USA, about half the country woke up over the past couple years. But in Australia, it seems like the percentage is much much smaller. I bet most Australians would watch this clip, even today, and think the cops were justified to break this guy's back because he wasn't wearing a mask.
