Change the title of this video to how to "RESTART" without screen!! For those that want to actually turn the phone Do the vol up & down press, then Press and Hold the Lock/Unlock button until your iPhone screen turns off, turns on, and shuts off again. Once the Apple logo disappears from the screen for the second time, release the Lock/Unlock button.

Thank you! All the google search results were useless. Web pages titled "how to fix a screen that doesn't work" were telling me to turn off by dragging the slider, which is stupid because the screen doesn't work. Your tutorial did the trick.
