Imelda staunton genuinely deserved an award for her portrayal of umbridge, sure she was despicable in the books as well, but the way she carried herself, the micro-expressions and tone in her voice have never made me genuinely want to hurt a character ive seen on screen like she managed. the hilarious thing was that Dumbledore didn't even consider her a threat, more like an annoyance you would feel with a fly. when she sent aurors after him, he swatted them all in a blink of an eye and had a relaxed conversation with harry afterwards.
