In this video I go over the Top 5 things you will need to know before you buy a used Ford Fusion. BONUS.. There is another very important thing you will need to know before your purchase.

We bought our 2014 Ford Fusion Titanium when it only had 9000 miles. The car was also a certified used Ford car. That means it had a better warrantee than when it was brand new! It had a 48,000 mile bumper to bumper/48 month warrantee and a 100,000 mile powertrain warrantee!

During our ownership we have keep up with the route maintenance items such as 5000 mile oil changes, air filter replacements, Brakes, tires, shocks and many more service items.

We have experienced very few major repairs due to the up keep on this vehicle But there have been a few unexpected things to go bad.
As the Ford Fusion is discontinued and these cars are hitting the used car market there will be good cars and bad cars to watch out for!
Do you research on what ever car you are buying to make sure you are getting one of the good ones. I my opinion if you are looking at a Ford Fusion that is bad its due to poor maintenance. If you buy a good one keep up on the maintenance and you will have a great car for many years to come.

I have a 2014 Ford Fusion Titanium. 466, 000 miles and still going strong. Only major issues I’ve had were replacing the catalytic converter @400, 000 and a recent electronic steering assist issue. No car payment since 2017! Best car I’ve ever owned!

Had a 2014 that was totaled in Hurricane Harvey that I only had for like 10 months. Loved it so much I bought a brand new 2017 after the storm and had it for 5 years. One of the best driving cars I've ever had. Both were the Titanium trims with the 2.0L EcoBoost. I've never had a Toyota or Honda to compare it to, but it rode and drove so good, and had lots of power. Never any issue out of either.

I have a 2013 Fusion S with a 2.5L engine. It’s currently sitting at 235, 000 miles and it’s still purring like a kitten. Great car! The only two issues I’ve had with it was a failed O2 sensor and the boot on the driver side CV axle busted open and leaked most of the grease out. Both were easy repairs.

I have a 2018 ford fusion (used) I’ve had it for nearly a year and I’ll tell you, it’s very well worth its money. Wouldn’t trade it for anything!

I have read quite a few of the comments here. I leased my 2019-20 Ford Fusion Energi Titanium as new and having only done 12000 miles with the car always garaged. It still smells brand new inside with not a mark on the car. Until the recall a month ago when the dealer disconnected the plug-in awaiting a new battery to be fitted in October I was avaeraging 120 mpg with most of my trips round turn less than 22 miles. The car has been flawless except for maintenance under warranty with the A/C. I have had about 60 cars in my life and this is definitely one of the best. People who do not own a Fusion do not know what they are missing. I am astounded at some of the large mileages mentioned in the comments. Ford offered to buy the vehicle back a few weeks ago offering an excellent price but I would not consider selling under $35000 because I just cannot replace it. Ford was ahead of the market with the features they have included in all Fusions. I cannot believe the decision by Ford to cancel the vehicle in July 2020. It is so much better to drive than a SUV or crossover. I am temptd to buy also 2020 AWD 2 litre turbo Titanium. It would also be a great version to have.

Oil change at 25, 000 miles? Nuts to that. I do them at 10, 000km, about 6, 000 miles.

Got a 2020 Titanium and I love this car! Not a single issue with it so far! Wish Ford still made them. I know with new and used truck prices being currently outrageous a lot of people want cars and I could sell 6 of them for Ford right now. Friend and co-workers are impressed with my Fusion, especially seeing I'm getting 30 MPG. I have a friend and a niece who each have a Fusion and they love their cars.

I have the British version which we call the Mondeo Mk5. Had a Mk3 for 10 years which was a great car. Came into some money so bought a 2016 2.0 Titanium with an X pack including 19"alloys. Beautiful car in Deep Impact Blue and only 25k miles. This is a useful video to let me know what to look out for.

I currently own a 2012 and 2014 Ford Fusions and have had them for many years with NO repairs needing to be made. As has been said, regular maintenance is the key. Love these Fords!

I love how you explain the video in detail and I was waiting for you to explain more when you got inside of the car like when you was pressing the down arrow button to show us the screen.... And also waiting for you to explain the touch screen version of what it all could do but it's okay I'll figure it out you still did a great job keep going on the videos you can tell that you're a real mechanic🎉❤😊

Wife has a hybrid titanium fusion. Factory battery is the way to go. Paid 150 at the dealer for a new Motorcraft battery in a larger than standard size (2 batteries were in the parts system for the car one was bigger and price for both were the same). Dealer ran a special they put it in free and it has a 36 month full replacement warranty. Parts store batteries in the same size were 50 dollars more.

My 2013 Fusion has been a very good car. Replaced an axle seal and that was the only repair in 120, 000 miles other than general maintenance. As you said fun car to drive also.
