After downloading the license
Open abelton, .click "plug-ins, (middle/far left)
Click "vst

this doesnt work for novation launckey 49. there is no serial number slot that pops up and submit is grayed out. i bought it from guitar center just got around to registering it now and now im having issues.

I'm having problem with the VST folder... I've installed both the bass station and loop master samples, but I can't find any of them in the VST folder. There's nothing there and when I open the plugins folder outside Live, then there's no VST folder :/ What's the problem?

I bought a used LaunchKey 25 MK2 and requested a new bundle code and a serial number to be assigned to me so I can register the product and do the updates. I punched in the serial number in the required box on the site and for some reason, the number is invalid. I emailed Novation on the issue and it’s been 3 days and have not received a response on a solution.

Do you have to do that bit where you make a folder? I'm literally lost from that point onwards. My file folder looks different to yours :/

Man, I have been working with this for at least 45 minutes and can't get it to work since this video is for Mac users only. Do you have any written directions for PC users? This is a bummer that I can't get started because there are NO directions for Ableton Live 10

I can't find a way to activate Live. I downloaded Ableton Live Lite 10, but when I go to use my activation code, it says that the code has already been activated by another user. Is this because the code is for Live 9? If so, why has the serial number not been updated?

Hi, i can't seem to connect the vst plugins to bass station! The bass station won't show when i browse through.

1. Ridiculously complicated.
2. The reason one might want to do it the depicted way is not explained -- the benefits or drawbacks are not explained..
3. Most importantly, the process depicted no longer matches Novation's ridiculously complicated process. The screens differ. The names of the software packs are different, and it's unclear if the user even has (or can find) the correct ones.

Very frustrating and unsuccessful experience. Thanks Novation!
