How to install Novation Launchkey to Logic Pro X

I know some people have had problems, my self included, setting up the Launchkey in Logic Pro X, so i made a video. The problem i ran into was in the factory instructions and video it doesn't cover the I/O configurations, so here they are. Pretty simple really. Comment if you need any help, have a nice day! :)

Incase if you having a problem with deleting a control surface:

- Might be that you don't have the "Control Surfaces" checked under Advanced Tab in Preferences.

- Go to Logic Pro X > Preferences > Advanced - Make sure "Control Surfaces" is checked. Reopen Logic Pro X > Control Surfaces > Setup - then try deleting. Should get a prompt, just say yes and that should be that.

Everything is good except when I get to the output and input. Mine doesn't have the option to change it. It's stuck on "off" for output and "any" for input. tried editing and deleting a doing it again several times. Any suggestions?

MUST READ! if this does not work, close logic down and unplug launchkey, open new logic file, a notification pops up, create a new track EXTERNAL MIDI and then midi works, then follow this guys steps and you will be able to edit the in and out put. Before u did what u did it wouldn't work and now it does... Been at it for hours aha

Ok this sounds dumb. And it could be because I’m using the trial version of logic. But some reason. I my right click won’t bring up the show/hide inspector.. like I’m flipping out. I seen countless videos and read hella post but I literally can’t bring up that right click command. Or basically on the control surface setup page. I can’t get the inspector to show on the left side of the page. Any? Help?

hey man how can you load samples onto the pads?
Also having a hard time trying to use the faders. Right now all I can control is the volume pan left or right. Any idea how to assign different automation controls to the faders?

So i did all this and I'm getting no sound from the Novation. when i create a track in Logix Pro X it asks me what channel to put it on? I have no idea! There is also a group of Midi's - 2 which way Novation? Spent hours on this... :(

Hey man, I had my launchkey midi keyboard set up fine with the basic setting and was able to use all of the instruments fine. I put it in the InControl mode to try mess around with some samples on the drum pads but decided my MPD did a much better job.. However i can't work out how the re-set my keyboard back to basic mode, its causing a lot of problems playing unwanted notes and the octave/track buttons don't have any function at all. Any help would be appreciated !
