Is the LG C1 Obsolete in 2024? 120hz, HDM1 2.1, & OLED?!

I bought the LG C1 OLED TV over a year ago and don't regret it at all. With OLED TV's becoming more and more popular these days do you NEED the latest and greatest?? Watch as I share my thoughts on the LG C lineup and maybe you can keep a little more money in your pockets. This TV is not only great for media consumption by high-end gaming as well.

Today marks exactly 3 years of owning the C1 48, which I've been using as a PC monitor for gaming, work, and more. I'm honestly surprised it's still like new. I did a burn-in test because I was always worried about it, but to my surprise, it’s in perfect condition. Of course, I kept all the safety features on, and whenever I used a browser, I always hid the taskbar. I also kept the brightness at 70-80%. Zero issues so far, absolutely worth every penny I spent on it. Btw Great Content Kyle! Quality is TOP!

Have a 65 and 77. They are phenomenal!!! I have light control in both rooms and have zero brightness issues. UHD blu ray is where mine really shines. The 77 inch has full 7.2.4 sonos system and it’s amazing.

I’ve had mine for 3years now and I absolutely love this TV especially for gaming I’ve got no intention on upgrading so if your after a really good TV the C1 is a must and for the price compared to 3years ago it’s a must.

I'm upgrading from 55 inch to 65 inch, it costed me 750€. Such a steal!! I was more than happy with 55 inch in terms of image quality. Will be upgrading when OLEDs advance even more.

I have mine for 3 years, and they changed the panel because of the vertical line across the screen, and now they need to change the power board because it doesn't turn on from remote.

My C1 48" is still the best PC 'monitor', I have ever owned. Had mine for 2.5 years now. I have 'tuned' my screen setting for my gaming and video viewing, and I have to find another monitor that looks as good.

Hahaha, how could the C1 be obselete? My C9 is still beautiful and performant like new and has provided thousands of hours gaming and movie watching joy. Sure, a G4 would be nice, but it'd be a waste of money while the C9 is around.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED MY LG C1 UNTIL I BOUGHT MY SAMSUNG QD-OLED! DON'T GET ME WRONG IT'S STILL A GREAT TV BUT IT'S DIM & DULL NEXT TO MY 77 INCH SAMSUNG S89C/S90C QD-OLED!
