i bought a c1 48" based on your videos about it a little over 2 months ago, and it's absolutely amazing. like you said, it's the biggest single upgrade to my gaming experience that i've ever made (in almost 30 years of gaming/building PCs.)

Been enjoying my CX 48" OLED since 2020. Best gaming experiences so far.

Yes indeed I started my gaming using a green 12" fishbowl CRT monitor 640 * 480. Wow times have changed. This monitor is absolute dope. Love it

I've had the same LG 34" IPS / 6800XT combo as you for a couple years now. I just bought this TV a few days ago. I could not agree more with your opinion between the two. I thought a 34" IPS was the perfect monitor until I got this thing.. Wow, what a difference in gaming and movies! I will still use the 34" for work (heavy multitasking) and web browsing because it is the better choice for both of those. I recently stumbled upon your channel and find it very honest and knowledgeable. I bet you will hit 500K subs in no time!

I bought a 55 inch C1 last august for my PC gaming. It’s so worth it, I love sitting back on my futon playing my PC games on such a beautiful TV

Hey Daniel. I've been watching your videos without commenting since you had like 1k subs, and it's been really a blast. I really like your way of thinking, you're very reasonable and also well spoken. That's not something that comes easy to new youtubers like you. Keep it up :D
Also, the C1 is a beast, I love it, I have it myself as a third monitor for chill couch gaming and it's hands down my best monitor.

I got one partly because of Daniel's advice. He was spot on! This thing is awesome and the best PC upgrade since SSD's. I feel like it took my gaming setup to the next level. I am running a 6700XT which I would say is the minimum to play AAA games @4K. 3060ti/3070 would work but 8GB VRAM isn't great) and 6800/3080+ would be ideal. FSR/DLSS helps a ton too. Playing a game like Witcher 3 with texture mods is like playing it for the first time! Forza Horizon 5 is mind blowing. The 42" might be better but I'm not regretting jumping on this thing when the price dropped to $1100 late 2021 before Christmas. I have a bedroom set as a dedicated computer room and a big desk so space wasn't an issue for me, but it might be for some. Ideally you would mount this thing.

Love my 65” C1 in the living room. Patiently waiting for the 42” C2 to drop to replace my LG ultrawide too (the same 34GK950 as you)!

I have the 55 inch lg c1 hooked up with my ps5 and series x . It’s the best screen (gaming monitor or tv) I’ve ever seen. The picture quality and clarity on the c1 is just unbelievably good. Gaming at 120fps on this oled panel or playing a game at 4k with this screen is an experience like none other. I regret nothing about my purchase

I also have the LG OLED, and you can also run a feature from the tv menu where it resets the pixels (I don’t remember the actual name but it is under the video menu). You can have it run automatically or you can run it yourself, best when you are turning it off so it does everything before it turns off. Think of it like defragging spinning hard drives. Just a thought. Love your channel!

Thanks Daniel I just picked my first OLED tv 55" LG CS I'm completely blown away by how good this tv is. Before I shouldn't bother with HDR it looked ugly and made the screen dim now I can see why people praised HDR and LG OLED tvs so much

I puchased IPS dell with HDR 600 nits, and was completely blown away with what HDR brings to gaming. I was not satisfied with local dimming and blacks, though I thought I could live with that. But I realized I don't care much about burn in, considering the quality OLED brings. Now I'm choosing between LG and samsung for TV as a monitor.
I've been playing since 1996, and I can say OLED brings those sensations I had when switching from sega megadrive to PS1, and from SD to HD. It's that impressive

I've been using this same display now for 5 months and I love it. I set my desktop background to off / black and toggle virtual desktop when I want to shut the display off when I go afk. Honestly as long as I get 3 years out of it before it starts to exhibit burn in Im okay w/ that and from all the reviewer tests that seems likely especially when these displays are about $1200 for black friday.

Thanks, I have been using LG E7 65'' OLED tv as my monitor over 4 years without any issues. No burning in, but the panel is in the end of its life! I mean dark spots appearing in the view, so I need to update. They are not icons burning in or things like that, but the panel aged in a bad way. I can still watch it but a couple of dark spots already in the certain colors. In the middle there are a lot of darker panel areas but they are not visible in normal view.

Great video. Absolutely agree, the device displaying your image is the most important part of the equation but alot of people fail to take that into the equation. I went OLED for movie and console gaming in 2016 and soon as I saw the 48" CX hit the market it was a must for PC gaming. Now I'm tempted to get the 34" Alienware 1440p 144hz QD-OLED that's just hit the market since it's actually a proper monitor. You should consider doing a review and see how it compares w the LG side by side

For the last 2 weeks, I have been agonizing over whether I wanted to get the LG C1 (48") or the Ultra Wide 49" Odyssey G9. I will be putting this on a Next Level Racing GT Track cockpit with a free standing TV monitor stand for playing Microsoft Flight Simulator, Star Citizen, American Truck Simulator and Forza Horizon 5. No work, no productivity, just flying, driving and space sims. I have watched more videos then I care to admit and it has been a hard decision. And while the FOV seems a lot better for these types of games, the height, size, OLED and 4K seems more enticing than a wider FOV. I have watched a lot of your videos and your strong emphasis on performance and gaming and that experience and genuine attitude has leaned me more to getting the LG TV. I was wondering your thoughts or what the rest of the community thought. Thanks for your videos and content!
