I did all the steps, however when I double click on the forge installer (checked it was opening with java), it opens a console window for half a second and then nothing

btw when you install forge you have to have the minecraft launcher closed

something weird is when i install it, its not showing up in my launcher. I checked the game files, and my installation is there, but it lacks a .jar file, which i think is the culprit. if anyone knows why this is happening, what the cause is, or atleast a download link to the .jar file for forge 11.15.1.1902, and that specific version since thats the version i need for optifine, i would greatly appreciate it
Edit 2: nevermind again since it just crashes the game because there is still no jar file
