I've pretty much mastered chords but when I suddenly realized I couldnt strum along with some of my favourite songs, which happened to be on 4/4, I kinda panicked lol

Thank you for the video. I have been playing guitar for 49 years, mostly old country and lots of bluegrass. I play most bluegrass instruments and my wife and I have our own band, she plays the upright bass. Lately, we have been doing some praise and worship songs and are really enjoying it. My problem is with the guitar, I grew up playing the alternating rhythm with the two top notes like in the standard bluegrass song. I found your videos and this rhythm has really helped me! Thank you. Also, I have a 1973 D35. Looks like yours is a D 35 as well. What pickup do you have on yours? It sounds really good, been thinking about getting one myself. I m trying to learn guitar and I have an acoustic guitar, but when I play it the sound of the pick is audible like its really loud. Is that normal or I am playing it wrong?
