This is awesome. I'm a beginner+ lol. I have a problem where every time I try to practice guitar I end up into the same strumming pattern and everything sounds the same. I keep trying to do different ones but I just keep falling back into that same silly pattern. Thank you!

I’m a beginner and I’m realizing practice practice practice …I really love your beginner tutorial videos …you make it look easy . Im day 5 of learning guitar and strumming seems to help with few cords I know . Thank you Marty! You have helped me learn how to play the guitar and in about a year and a half I am now playing at church and putting music to my own original songs! I am still learning of course but am so excited to have come this far already! The way I am learning now is by learning new songs. That way I learn new chords and progressions.

Good Day Marty. at the age of 37 I decided to start playing guitar. i am left handed, but playing "right" Your videos makes it so easy and I feel that because i am left handed, my cord pressing comes easy for me. Thank you for all these awesome great excellent beginner video. I can play these beginner A, E, C, D, G cords endlessly for hours messing around with the strumming patter. I love it. Love that 16th note strum at 13:41. You may wish to do a lesson on the same type of 16th rhythm strum Gordon Lightfoot plays live and taped by the BBC in 1971. I know you're always looking for great lesson material and your acoustic teachings are the best. Clearskys has the video up on YouTube and the time code is 30:49. I tried to get it but my wrist gave out. And Gordon is playing a 12 String!
