How To Remove Spaces Between Characters And Numbers Within Cells In Excel?

In this tutorial I will be using function to remove all spaces between characters in excel. This is really an easy tutorial. I am using Microsoft Excel 2010 for the demonstration.

Let’s heed towards the step by step tutorial to remove all space from a cell.

Step 1: Open the workbook

Step 2: Write the formula =Substitute(A2," ","") and press enter

Step 3: Drag the formula until end and it’s done.

That’s it and you have successfully removed all space between characters in excel

It is simpler to just search and replace " " (space) with "" (no space), for the example that you have given!
