Don’t panic, key items:
1. Humidifier
2. Steam the bathroom every morning, have your child sit in the warm tub and let them breath the steam. All the phlegm loves to come out in the morning.
3. Vics vapor rub, get the adult one, helps a lot at night.
4. Tylenol before bed.
5. Lukewarm water, OG, soups, cream of wheat.
6. If they have a fever, cold shower, if the fever keeps coming back, another cold shower then Tylenol.
7. It’s takes two to three weeks for the virus to be gone.
8. If your kid is t getting better by after the first week, take them to the doctor before they get a ear infection.

I came here because my baby just tested positive for RSV, and I’m the same way! 😢🥺 I keep going to the hospital and they keep telling me to wait it out!
To only come back if she is showing signs of breathing problems, well of course my mind cause crazy and I feel like anything is a breathing problem:(

My 18 month has it. Hes miserable and coughs himself awake ever hour or so during the night. We had him at the doctor today and they basically sent him home after testing to confirm it wasnt flu or covid. It sounds like hes trying to breathe through a straw and when he goes into a fit of wet sounding coughs its terrifying. I guess there is nothing the doctor could do but jeez this sucks.
