I just got my suppressor haven't fired a lot but I've noticed a ton of negatives that I don't think it's worth it. It's super heavy, super long, super hot, tons of gas blowback, and on a 556 it's not that much reduction. I don't know if I would pay $1, 000 again for a 556 suppressor

Honestly i would say buy a good comp/flash hider and forget the suppressor. I own a couple and its not worth the headache and money. If they were cheaper and easier to get then yes. U til then i say no

It all depends on what you are trying to do with your rifle. How will you be utilizing it ?
Figure out what tasks you want your rifle to be outfitted for CQC, shooting accurately over distance?
Once you get that straight you can seek out or build up a weapon that is capable of meeting your needs in the field.

That question can't be answered without knowing the Mission, or your place in it! Essentially: I'm saying, there is a perfect Rifle setup for every different mission you go on! Sometimes it's just a Flash Hider + 200 rounds of Ammo. Other times, Nods and IR lasers, paired with a good Suppressor and 1 full mag will get the job done with 29 rounds remaining!
So like I said, you're set up changes every mission you go on.

Not worth it on 5.56 because it's not a supressed round. But is it fun, yes, yes it is. Although you're running a dead air so it'll break soon anyways.
