I haven't spoke with my ex since August of 2022. Last week just for the hell of it I reached out with a basic message saying hey hope everything's been going good for you. The next morning I realized my message wasn't delivered meaning that she must have had me blocked from texting her. So I left her alone and let it be then from out of nowhere she sent me a meme I responded with a LOL and left it at that. Then the next morning she sent me another meme saying Saturday morning jokes and once again I responded with just lol and went about my day. Later that day she actually called me and we spoke for like an hour. And now a week later she invited me to go to a concert and she wants to come hang at my house all this came from her. I didn't push the conversation and try to meet up with her she came up with it all on her own. So no contact definitely can work cuz she's making little comments that she wants to get freaky and I don't have any problem with that... Lol. Thanks for all your advice it really helped.

I did the no contact for 2 months. Hit her up asking for something that I thought I left at our apt. Her new dude answers the phone. Talking mad shit about me. After I went back to no contact then she text me to come over so we could talk only to be setup by her new dude. Put a gun to my face and started faking. I left only to realize in reality that she honestly set me up to get shot, scare me off, or just really trying to hurt me. I will never in life speak to her again. I'm not sure what I would do if I see her again. She manipulated the whole situation. 2years together. Broke up in January now she is in love and pregnant with the rebound guy. This shit has me going back to church.
