Whew. It is a relief at least to know what it is. Will definitely follow your exercises to help it heal. You’re very good.

No pain first test, second test in one leg, third test in both. Legs much pain if bent. Thanks for test. Cooking in my kitchen is like doing the twist as it is small and box like.

It seems a degenerative tear occurs because the meniscus becomes dry over time. Are there supplements we can take to help “oil” the joints? Fish oil? Glucosamine?

I have no pain doing the second test but my knee just always feels kind of weak and sore but my right knee cracks almost every time I turn and bend it. Its been 3 weeks since the injury and my urgent care just told me "soft tissue injury" which I really don't know what it means. The third test made the bottom left under my knee cap sore.

The 3rd 1 definitely was sore on left knee but not right. Is this mild meniscus and is it ok to keep running with a knee brace or should there be a length of time off running 😢 very helpful video I’ve now subscribed

Hit my heel hard going in to a pool and hyperextended my knee and have had knee pain ever since. I did these test and thankfully not too bad, but then what could the injury be? 2, 5 weeks since the impact and it still hurts 😢

So I tried the sitting on the leg 3rd option and felt discomfort in the inside of the knee. Do I proceed to do the meniscus exercises in your other video? Thanks for your help

I have been diagnosed with a mild Bakers Cyst. That third test I can feel discomfort from the cyst (so I only did it very gingerly and stopped when I felt the cyst) but no pain in the area you identified as the meniscus. None of the other tests bothered my knee at all either. Could you mention any other reason for a Bakers Cyst? I only have discomfort when bending my leg over about 110 degrees (or about half way between 90 degrees and fully bent). And no pain when walking or running but occasionally when I am hiking downhill for a length of time. I am anxious to fix it as I usually spend a lot of time squatting and sitting cross legged and this is seriously getting in my way. I have been doing your meniscus exercises in case that is what it is and thought it couldn’t hurt either way to strengthen the surrounding muscles. My hamstrings do tend to be tight and don’t like to be stretched as a general rule.

Came to this late, but although I confirmed a meniscus tear by 1 and couldn't do 2, I also have a very sensitive spot on the inner top bone (femur?) end above the meniscus line gap. Could it be a fracture of the bone?
