How to transfer a patchbank to your microKORG with your MAC.
This video will help you to import/transfer a new patchbank to your Synthesizer. All you need is a midi interface or USB2Midi Cable and a PC or MAC

Just installed via a Mac running latest OS no worries, however I tried downloading on my Windows PC, putting on thumb drive and transferring it to mac, this didn't work for some reason and the file couldnt be opened. Downloading it from the Dropbox direct on my Mac laptop worked a charm. Thanks man loving the updated sounds it's great

just bought the patchbank today via ebay, the dropbox link came right a few minutes after the purchase. importing it to the mk has been super super easy thanks to the Carlo's video about it. great work and competitive price. thanks <3

Guys! Is it only me who has a problem of the sound editor being unusable for the newer macs? I cannot use it with my OS (Ventura 13.6.5)

Do patch files you open up with Korg editor show you all the settings? I figure, instead of buying a midi interface, I can just open up a particular patch file with the Korg editor and look at the parameters to get an idea of how the patch was constructed.

Nice videos and really nice idea with this bank knob to divide them into instruments not styles! I see that you have both microkorgs Mk 1 and S. I was planning to buy mk 1 because i didn't know that s exists. In terms of the look/ design I really like the original one. So I am wondering if new s has any significant improvements in the engine? I really do not need this speakers, but I wonder also how this new doubled memory is useful? As I understood properly from your video I can manage my sound patches with the sound editor. So I can save them in my laptop and prepare as many as I want the only reason is that if I want to load them to the microkorg I can have only 128 in the same time in the oryginal one and 256 in the s. Is it correct? I found shop where both cost nearly the same so money is not an issue.. thanks looking forward. JJ

Hey absolutely love this idea but the microkorg software (v2.00) is not allowing me to open the patchbank on a mac. Have you run into this problem?

Hope someone can help me with this its driving me crazy :( anytime i try to change a patch it keeps saying on the mac from the microkorg editor window it keeps saying midi error communication error. Anyone have any ideas? The mk is connected to my imac via an alesis usb to midi cable brand new as well.

Hi, not sure if you still use microkorg software on your mac anymore, but I tried installing on mine and it no longer works because of the OS. Do you know if there are any alternative software packages to use?
