Update: After Patch 1.2, CA has fixed bug that causes the entire unit's ammo stock to be destroyed when a single unmanned artillery model is killed. (Though the problem of artillery attacking and attracting aggression still remains)

I actually personally hope this becomes the norm, rather than a lone exception (Targeting the artillery). It's absolutely brutal when you cleverly get some dogs or flyers in to the backlines, only to have the artillery crew take down your attack force. At least this way if I lose a set of Scurvy Dogs or Fellbats, it might be a decent trade if I've taken most of their artillery offline in the process.
