I'm going through this now. It's been two months since my transplant for Multiple Myeloma stage one. It's been rough. I'm depressed, mostly alone and have had to take care of myself, but I maintain a positive outlook all the same to get me trough.

I am going for allogeneic stem cell transplant this week. This was a very good video; informative, reassuring, and the presenter was very knowledgeable and fluid in her presentation. Thank you.

Hi great video as always 🤜🧡🤛 I am having high dose chemo next week & stem cell transplant on Thursday. I am also going to be treated as an out patient with recovery from home instead of staying in hospital for the 2-3 weeks. All will be revealed on Thursday 🙏🙏🙏I have all faith in Professor Jackson at the Freeman hospital at Newcastle.

Thank you. I am still in melodysplastic syndrome due to heavy metal poisoning and have been having trouble getting straight answers from my doctors. They say I can survive on blood transfusions but my marrow is so messed up that a transplant is all that will save me.I'm 74 and I'll have trouble getting one and this helps me get my facts straight. By the way, this would be much easier if we yanks had a single payer health system like you.

I am still awaiting the results of my blood test to see if I've got myeloma. However, I am concerned regarding the steroids and chemo therapy. I am type 2 diabetic and do not wish to increase my weight. Staying in hospital for 2 or more weeks is not on for me, not even for more than a day as I live with an indoor rescue cat I do not wish to stay in a cattery. If it can't be done as an outpatient I will have to decline the steroid and chemo treatments.
