Your own STEM CELLS can Heal You and Reverse Ageing (if you let them!) #stemcellstherapy #fasting
Показать описание
STEM CELLS are cells that have not yet “committed” to differentiating into any specific tissue type. They are found in the foetus and called “Embryonic Stem Cells” and produce “daughter” cells that then differentiate into bone, muscle, liver, skin etc. The Stem Cells remain “neutral” in a sense and continue to produce “daughter” cells that can develop into pretty much any type.
We’ve all heard of “Stem Cell Therapy” by now – a procedure whereby damaged tissue or organs is injected with magical “stem cells” that stimulate the tissue to repair itself, right? It’s pretty new medical science, it’s an expensive procedure, and there are no guarantees (though there is growing evidence that, if done right, it can be highly successful). But what if I told you there are somewhere around 700,000 of your own stem cells present in your body, just waiting to help you out? That’s right! These are called ·Adult Stem Cells”, and they can do magic too, but they need the right conditions. That means you have to look after them and give your body the raw materials and nutrients needed for your stem cells to do their job.
Seven hundred thousand might sound like a lot of stem cells, but as there are 30 to 35million cells in your body, that’s just one stem cell for every 45million normal cells – so they are not easy to spot! This is why they have managed to “hide” from science for a long time. Initially they we discovered in bone marrow (it seems that’s where most of them are) and the belief was they make red blood cells and bone cells. We now know these cells can also make liver, lung and skin cells.
Adult Stem Cells have now also been found in the Brain, Blood, Gut and Muscle where they repair and regrow damaged tissue. We’ve known for centuries that our blood cells, skin cells and hair are all replaced on a regular basis. It is becoming more and more apparent to scientists that Adult Stem Cells play a key role in the repair and regrowth of more and more tissue types and are essential to our healing processes.
Unfortunately our precious stem cells become damaged, compromised and depleted over time and therefore less effective when it comes to healing and repairing damaged or old organs, but if we take care of them they will stay active and vital for a lot longer.
Adult Stem Cells are severely damaged by excessive alcohol, smoking, low cholesterol (a side effect of statin medication), inflammation, high blood sugar and stress. Symptoms of impaired stem cells include hair loss, kidney disease, dementia and increased risk of diabetes and cancer.
Steps we can take to protect our Stem Cells:
AVOID: Sugar (including starches and all carbohydrates as much as possible), Tobacco (stop smoking already!), Excessive alcohol consumption.
LOWER: Your Inflammation levels (see link below), your Stress levels, and your Weight (switch to a healthy low-carb nutrition lifestyle)
INCREASE: Regular Exercise, Quality Sleep (see Link below), and Intermittent Fasting (see Link below). Drink more tea and eat more dark chocolate (for the flavonols).
