A Mako Shark in Greece!

During this weekend, I visited a small fishing port and I was very sad to discover in the water, the remains of a small Mako Shark that fell victim to a longline fisherman. ☹️ Sharks are highly protected animals and should not be killed!

Fastest shark there is! They are impressive!! Glad it's protected there. That's a very young one! They get rather large!

I'm an avid diver having swam in the Merideterranian sea. Never felt in any danger. I will never forget how uneasy I felt when I visited the sea in Hurghada. Didn't even dare dive.

The mako is one of my favorite sharks. This upset me. They should have released it to grow big

People don't get it we need sharks. In Florida our sharks are important to us. Sharks are a very important part of our ecosystem, anyone who doesn't understand this has no brain in there head. Anyone who does not respect sharks should be put in confinement for life. Please protect our sharks.
