Day 2 in CDMX! Started the morning at Panadería Rosetta for pastries, then took advantage of the Sunday street closures and biked around the city. Finally made it to Contramar since so many people recommended it, and of course, ended the day with more tacos.

I went to Contramar TWICE during my 4 days in CDMX. The food is so good, but the highlight for me was the wonderful waitstaff.

I wish creators would stop apologizing for their pronunciation of words in other languages that they’re not familiar with. I never get upset when someone messes up a word in my native tongue. No one expects a non-native to pronounce it correctly. Just enjoy yourself. No apologies necessary.

Go to Xochimilco! And Teotihuacan, the nearby restaurant La Gruta is a whole vibe. Recommend the ant eggs.

I love to have breakfast at Niddo and for tacos, Gabriel is a good option (a bit touristy but it’s ok). Also, get some sushi, they have a bunch of great places!

pretty much every where you go in CDMX will be a touristy spot, it’s a very gentrified city
