*This is my full workflow guys*
Again, I'd love to hear yours, but if all systems are strong with your set-up, that's fantastic, no need to change!

*Comment below with your set-up and how long you've been with each tool!*

Thanks Francesco!

Lately I've been obsessed with digital minimalism and I have been over the past year in a half trimming and cutting down the apps and accounts I have accumulated over the years (especially after trying out so many cool new productivity apps and committing to them!) My work style and jobs have changed in that period as well. I used to be a freelancer and now I am a project manager, so my tools both personally and professionally have evolved a lot. I'm mainly using the full G Suite for personal use with some other apps sprinkled around mainly for personal development like podcasts and language apps (no, not Duolingo) and for work it's the full blown Office Suite with Float that I am presently testing out for resource management.

It's been an interesting journey simplifying my work style and the apps I use but it's been worth it.

Evernote was my first productivity app starting in about 2015/6. I went for the paid version as I realised it would allow me to dispose of tons of paper I had accumulated, and often which i would never really need to refer to again. But now I have a safety net. To me it is the perfect filing cabinet solution.
Having looked up Youtube videos for how to use Evernote I came across Francesco and other respected YouTubers. I settled upon gmail for funnelling all my other emails into. Thus using the Gmail suite meant it was a natural progression to Google Calendar and all the extensions you can get for your chrome browser.
I have a PC tower, and Apple phone and tablet, so look for apps that integrate across all platforms. I much prefer Google calendar to Apple and my preferred to do app is TickTick.
A lot of my decisions come from watching Francesco and the other YouTubers. I already had a password manager but have just started using BLUR as a free service which in the UK allows you to choose "once-only" emails for services you may wish to sign up for, but which protects your main email address. It also means if you start getting spam directed to this once only email you can simply turn the email off. Cool!
I might be retired but that doesn't say my still busy days have to be disorganised.

Thank you for introducing us to your workflow. I learnt new things. One suggestion would be to include links to the apps/sites in the description of the video so that we can easily take a peek at the applications you are talking about. Cheers!

Your videos are amazing! I have tried so many of these apps to keep one organized. If you are someone who is noncommittal, like myself, it becomes a challenge to form good habits. I thoroughly appreciate how you have explained your logic on why you have chosen to use the products and how they supplement one another. Thank you for the honest and thorough overview.

You should do a "What do I have on my iPhone" video. It would be fascinating to watch. Not only the apps you use but how you use them.

Habitica, Evernote, Google Calendar, Microsoft Office & OneDrive. I have been playing around with Notion, but so far for me, it takes too much time to set up and manage it, but I'm still considering making the switch.

Great video! I especially like how you encourage folks not to just jump into an app if what they are currently using is working for them. For the most part the system I'm using currently is working great so even though there are other options out there that "might" also work I don't see a need to change. I have a couple areas where I feel I need improvement and those are the ones where I am considering other options. Basically, I adhere to the old "If it's not broke, don't fix it" adage these days!

Do you have any recommendations for work related and productivity apps for Windows and Android?

So glad you included the wiki of Martin Lewis -- I thought you were talking about the comedy team of Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis.

Thank you, my personal favorite tool is OneNote. It will be interested to compare OneNote with mentioned tools.

I was waiting for a good video, but instead I found a great video. Very well articulated, well explained, super solid, Congrats Francesco.

About your workflow: the needs of yours are very similar to mine.

About your apps: the only app we have in common is Timepage (and I really don’t use it as much - I really like to see the actual blocks of time <which are a request feature since ever to that team>) and the time it takes to arrive somewhere, there for I use the stock iOS Calendar app.

So very similar needs, very different apps.

Love your evolution and work! Cheers, man!

I love your channel and have learned a lot. Thank you! A friend turned me on to Bound, for the iPhone. I listen to a lot of audiobooks, some on audible, some from my local library and other places. It lets you listen to audiobooks, say ripped from an old CDs and stream them from a cloud service. It also organizes it into order and places them seamlessly (no re-clicking). I find it incredibly useful, so thought I would share :)

I am surprised it took you so long to find 1Password. I thought that you'd be all over that especially given how many logins and passwords you must have. Were you using something else before then?

Fascinating to get a look "behind the curtain", are you strictly using Camtasia for all video work or do you also use Screenflow or other? Also what are you using for audio? Great video as usual thanks for the great content!

It slays me to think of a teen-ager using Evernote! You were a productivity nerd even back then. What did your parents think? I imagine they were very happy to have an organized kid.

I liked this video; I was wondering if you would ever post something like this given the number of apps you’ve reviewed over the years. I’m kind of stuck with Outlook due to my corporate setting, but I’ve found things like SyncGene help me keep my Google Calendar and Outlook working together. That sync relationship allows me to use other tools, like Todoist to schedule tasks on my calendar - which is a big power-up for me (I need to have the time set aside for my tasks). OneNote for note taking; I use iPad pencil to handwrite almost all my notes. Speaking of notes, I am able to put action items in my OneNotes using checklists and use Pleexy to pull those actions into Todoist - it’s magical!
