C4 is my favorite, I used to hate it but it aged like a fine wine, its timeless, fantastic car. Proud 1985 owner. I keep it original but always thought this would be the perfect EV conversion, especially bc it doesn’t have a front grill.

can’t wait to see where this project goes. it would he a nice touch to put back the original radio just so it would look full original despite of the EV conversion.

For the hatch There is a button in the center consul and the door card hatch button that wasn’t working is because it’s only activated when the door ajar switch is on and it seems like the door ajar switch is broken it’s a little black knob next to the switch on the door If the lights are not on in the cabin then the Hatch won’t open
