Shawn, honestly I never would’ve thought it was originally orange. So I went and looked this car up in its original 1971 Ontario Orange, and I have to say, it looked pretty darn good in that color. Then I remembered that years ago a friend had an AMAZING looking Fender Stratocaster guitar in “Burnt Candy Tangerine”, so I did a search on that color, and found several hot rods that had been done in that color. You should take a look at that and consider Burnt Candy Tangerine for this Vette. It would hold some of the original appeal, but look a hundred times as amazing. Been watching Rust to riches to disengage a bit in the evenings, this channel is a pleasant surprise - hope it takes off for you Shawn. I think one thing that isn't touched on much in shows like this is the true cost of parts + time and actual profit, especially over a period ( some projects pay off more than others etc. )

Shawn, that '71 Stingray was a great buy. If that is the original long block in it, then the '71 has higher compression than a smog pump equipped '72, eh?
I think that particular Vette body style looks fantastic in Black or White, in my opinion.
