It took me way too long to figure out how to clear the "Maintenance Required" message on my Volvo! Hopefully this will save some people a little time.

This should work for any Volvo with the same dash board/keyless system.

1. Get in the car with the fob and press and release the Start/Stop Engine button once.
2. Press and hold the T1/T2 button in the gauge cluster.
3. While holding T1/T2, press and hold Start/Stop until all the lights in the dash come on.
4. Release Start/Stop button.
5. Wait for yellow "i" light in center of gauges to start flashing.
6. Release T1/T2 button, there should be a beep.
7. Shut off car completely and restart, the message should be gone.

2010 XC60 and it worked!! Thank you! I have watched so many of these videos and they always tell you to let go of the T1/T2 button at the same time as the Start/Stop so it would never work but your way did!!! So happy you showed me how!

I have tried many many times form other Youtube videos, none of their suggestions worked for my 2013 S60 AWD until I finally watched your video. For me, The different this time is without inserting the key while doing the whole processing. Thank you so much !!

This worked. Make sure your foot is not on the brake when you initially push start/stop or the car will start.

Ight so I literally watched 2 videos previously for the same thing. They failed to show the exact button press sequence properly cuz they didn’t have a cameraman. I thought the same thing would happen here but you did sum nice editing that made the visual button press easy to understand and it worked for me so thanks
