how to reset service service message on volvo xc60 2014

Right this did not work for me so i found the official Volvo UK way of resting the maintenance for a 2014/2015 XC60.
Keep feet off clutch and brake. DO NOT PUT KEY IN CAR!
Hit start once so dash lights up
Get to the T2 by using the slider on end of the stick on your left that has OK on the top of it!
Then hold START and OK for 10 secs (no key-no clutch - no brake- you do not start the car)
After 10 secs the 'i' will flash and then let go of both and your done!
Simple!

Hope this helps, obviously it seems difference firmware versions of the volvo xc 60 software have different methods!

Works great. Had a little trouble at first but that's always the case with these things. Just remember to release the OK button and the reset button as soon as the orange letter "i" starts blinking. It will only blink for a short time and after that you are too late.

This did not work for me. I put the key fob into the slot, set to T2, scrolled to service status, hold OK and press and hold start for 2 seconds. When everything lit up, I held the ok & reset buttons until the "i" flashed and then I released. It did not work.

I tried 6 different unsuccessful ways shown on Youtube and finally invented this

How to reset Volvo Keyless maintenance reminder
on my 2015 V60:

FOB in dash
Press OK
Toggle to get service status
Press and hold reset
Press and hold OK
Press and release start
Press and hold start
Keep holding all 3 until the 'I" button first appears (about 10 seconds)
AND IMMEDIATELY LET GO OF ALL 3! (or at lease reset + start)
(if you do not let go soon enuf then you miss the "window")
Release start if you have not already
(if car is still on then turn it off but it should be off)
Then leave car alone for 3 minutes (not sure needed but they say to)



You can check your work by:
OK
toggle to Service Status
OK
You should see time and miles set to 12 mounts and 10000+ miles
