How to reset SRI service reminder indicator in Volvo V50 S40 C30 C70 S60 S80 V70 (SRL maintenance)

Reset Volvo service reminder indicator or messages after changing oil, filters and inspecting brakes and suspension.

This also works in any other modern Volvo car, like: C30, C70, S40, S60, S80, V40, V50, V60, V70, XC60, XC70, XC90.

Press and hold trip reset button, turn on the ignition and wait for the yellow warning light to start blinking. Release the button and wait for confirmations sound. Turn off the ignition

This procedure will reset messages like:
ENTRETEIN REGULIER NESECC
SISTEMA MOTORE PROSS. TAGLIANDO
STANDARDWARTUNG DURCH FUHREN
TAGLIANDO SCADENZA
TIJD VOOR REG SERVICE
WYMAGANY PRZEGLAD OKRES.
ZEIT FUR REGELM. WARTUNG

Worked in c30 2010. Simple to follow and worked first time. Miles need to at least be 0.1 though for it to work. So I needed a trip around the block beforehand

Regardless resetting oil quality with Delphi diagnostics SRI was still on. That little trick worked, thanks. Volvo v50 2011
