Climate Change #shorts

The world’s glaciers are shrinking and disappearing faster than scientists thought, with two-thirds of them projected to melt out of existence by the end of the century at current climate change trends, according to a new study.

Researchers found 49% of glaciers would disappear under the most optimistic scenario of 1.5C of warming. However, if global heating continued under the current scenario of 2.7C of warming, losses would be more significant, with 68% of glaciers disappearing, according to the paper, published in Science. This will significantly contribute to sea level rise, threaten the supply of water of up to 2 billion people, and increase the risk of natural hazards such as flooding.
This study is the most extensive work on the future of the world's 215,000 glaciers completed so far.

The authors of the study emphasise the importance of cutting the world's greenhouse gas emissions in order to limit the consequences of glacier melting.

Stop restaurants from using charcoal for continuous BBQ and continuously heating frying oil for deep frying. They should not be allowed high flow rate flame burners used in asian cooking. Put an end to bakeries and Chips factories as well.
They are more polluting than my car.

Hello;

My name is Larry, and I am from Connecticut. I am a College Student in Environmental Science. I am also a 36 year old man that is a Military Veteran and has hiked a majority of the Appalachian Trail through East Hartland Wilderness School. My whole life I have been increasingly becoming more passionate about the environment, the ecosystem, and the vessel we live in, called planet Earth.

As we understand the effects of Carbon Emissions and the increasing threats caused by the increased amounts of Carbon Emissions for which we must include the high probability and chance for the eruption of the Yellowstone National Park's super volcano erupting due to the atmosphere thinning at faster alarming rates that could very well erupt between 2030 and 2035 due to the increase carbon emissions and the increased temperature of the Earth's core.

The thinner we make our atmosphere the Earth's core heats up at higher temperatures and for longer durations making the super volcano at Yellowstone National Park more likely to erupt sooner than Governmental hired Scientist that are currently working for the local Governmnet at Yellowstone National Park are being allowed to report.

Volcanoes are erupting more frequently and are a very small fraction of the size of the largest super volcano in the world, which is Yellowstone National Park's super volcano!

The sulphuric acid of the volcanic ash is extremely dangerous, poisonous, and will in fact kill the majority or close to the whole population of the United States and possibly most of the world but definitely the majority of the vegetation that it takes to sustain life on earth.

As this is only a short synopsis or a scientific claim report and a request, I and many reputable Scientists demand the State of Connecticut take our requested demands extremely seriously and the timing to make a drastic change is most important.

In comparison to even an electric stove coil. It heats up as conducted until it's bright red. Think how long it takes to cool down in a controlled environment. Now, compare that to a much larger scale at the size of the super volcano at Yellowstone National Park within the United States.

I know our requests may seem harsh or even hard to integrate into society suddenly, but we Scientists assure you it can be done in small phases across the State of Connecticut in short periods of time gaps between each change of regulation.

Several well known reputable Scientists are begging for these changes to immediately be implemented as of Aug/2023.

What we Scientists are requesting for such a demand is important to make it happen as we have about three years to drastically cool down the earth before it very well may be too late to stop the eruption of Yellowstone Nation Park's super volcano.

This is what we Scientists are requesting in demand that the State of Connecticut's Environmental Commissions Committee to put into effect as of August/2023;

1 - Regulate the amount of fuel able to be pumped to only 50 gallons per hour and per gas fueling station in the entire State of Connecticut at the same time/date (Aug/2023),

2 - Only allow (6) fueling stations in a (5) mile radius from each gas station,

3 - Make all gas purchases to only pay inside or prepaid online (similar to laundry matt's),

4 - Immediately shut down the least frequent used gas stations to only have (1) gas station with a minimum distance in between (5) miles of each other,

5 - Immediately stop all Federal and State Gas and Carbon Emissions Taxes (as such taxes do no good for the environment and does not provide higher quality trust with US residents),

6 - Non-compliance is a hefty fine of up to $1000.00 per ounce over the regulated amount of fuel allowed to be pumped and such Non-compliance gas stations' store closes for 90 days,

7 - Create a one tax bracket called, "Environmental Sustainability Tax", and the requested tax would be 5% which would provide enough money for each municipality in the State of Connecticut to hire teams to clean up, repair, and engineer projects for Environmental Sustainability.

( NOTE: This drastic change being made immediately will cause surrounding state residents to come to Connecticut for gas and spend more money in stores which will make up more revenue in a short period of time. )

Many Scientists have a vision and with such knowledge we can help the State of Connecticut be the leading state to make the best and fastest Environmental changes and cause surrounding states to follow suit.

* (NOT CONTROLLED STUDY OBSERVATION) :

* * * This is what was found in an observation at gas fuel stations;

The average vehicle pulling up to the fuel pump took roughly 2 1/2 minutes, from entering the fuel stations pump area to pulling out of the fuel station pump area without going into the store or leaving the vehicle.

The allotted amount of cars pulling up per fuel station is up to (24) vehicles.

Currently the regulation is 13 gallons of fuel able to be pumped in (1) minute. The average vehicle is between 13 and 20 gallon in volume fuel tanks and there are several more larger fuel tanks as well, such as semi trucks holding up to 300 gallons of fuel. Though, there is more cars and trucks than semi trucks driven each day and burn far more than semi trucks in comparison.

Each fueling station is allowed to pump 780 gallons of fuel each hour and most gas stations have between 4 to 12 gas pump stations.

Further geographical studies show a rough distance between each gas station is being less than 2 miles apart and being more than (1) and as high as (15) gas stations in less than (3) miles.

With so many gas stations able to pump 780 gallons of fuel per hour and a small distance inbetween allows the cluster of carbon emissions and extreme amount of fuel burned in a shorter period of time.

The goal of this requested demand is to reduce carbon emissions to less than 100, 000 metric tons of carbon emissions per year and per gas combustion engine, from the average 4.2 million tons of carbon emissions per year per gas combustion engine.

Doing this change will push more people to switch to electric cars and more on foot and bikes and saving the planet faster than we are doing so now, and let us Scientist say what we are doing is not making a difference at all. Which is why we Scientist are demanding these exact changes be made in the State of Connecticut IMMEDIATELY ! ! !

The average vehicle burns about 4.2 million tons of carbon emissions each year and at these rates increasing the Earth's vegetation can not absorb the increasing quantity volume of carbon emissions. We have to reduce carbon emissions to less than 100, 000 metric tons of carbon emissions per gas combustion engine per year starting this year (2023).

Even though electric cars sound cool, it's not realistic to change the environment fast enough. These drastic measures must be put in this year and there is no wiggle room to play politics, lying scientist paid by greedy corporations, or any type of hesitation.

What many reputable Scientist are requesting in demand is what NEEDS to happen immediately to prevent a catastrophic event that we can prevent and reverse only if we act this year (2023).

We beg the State of Connecticut Enviromental Commission Committee's to please give us Scientist a chance to be heard and express the facts, the math, and the relavent science that matters and has to be in effect this year (2023).

THIS IS URGENT ! ! !

Being that the majority of carbon emissions are coming from gas consumption and burning only means the best and strictest regulation has to happen immediately and to assure we can cool down the planet as soon as possible. The longer we humans take to cool down the planet the harder it will be to prevent the devastation of YellowStone Super Volcano erupting and ultimate destruction.

If the super volcano in Yellowstone National Park erupts it is estimated the ash will cover the whole United States and effect the whole world. It is also estimated that it may take 1 week per one inch of ash to settle but also with in the first (3) to (5) days most of the population of the United States possibly the majority of the World could die a tragic suffering death and would take years for the survivors to recover from the catastrophic event.

THIS IS SERIOUS ! ! !

SINCERELY CRYING AND BEGGING;

WE THE SCIENTIST
