I’ve seen that color once from a jet flying over Idaho and I’ll never forget it It was a blue I cannot describe. Everyone should see that color . If it’s vibrant at 40, 000 feet imagine it close🥹

I saw it, the guide said the the curve where this glacier becomes visible is the Ah curve, right after navigating the curve everyone said Ah, and promptly fell não laughter because it's true. You can stay on land of make an hour long trip following the glacier on a boat, at least 1km away because ice is always falling here and there and you can here the crackling. It's awesome. We stayed in El Calafate and visited almost all the glaciers around. In one place you can ice-skate in a frozen lake with several glaciers sliding into it! You can also traverse the fjords by boat from Bariloche- Argentina to Puerto Montt, passing by the Aconcágua. It's visible across the lake into the horizon from Puerto Montt. Really awesome trip and Ushuaia is the most austral/southernmost city in the world. It has skiing, snowboarding, dig sledding, snow mobiling, trekking in the forests, watching whales, penguins, sea lions. There's lots of king crabs in the restaurant. The region is mountainous (the Andes) and is very close to the Antarctica so lot's of terrain similar to Scandinavia and other mountainous and freezing places. Argentina and Chile are very long, Chile more so, you can be in extreme heat in the Atacama desert or in glacial settings in the southern tip in Chilean Patagonia. Patagonian Argentina is very cold and beautiful. Best of all, very cheap to go, shop, travel, eat very well and have lots os fun adventures.

This is part of the ice cycle. Every rainy season it goes right back around and re freezes. What a Good thing God has made. So beautiful!
