The term replacement theology is simply an accusation thrown around by those who don't actually want to have a conversation. The ekklesia (church) is not a New Testament concept. The word can be traced all the way back to Moses (in the LXX). Deut. 31:12, 28; Judges 20:2; 21:5, 8; Ps. 40:9; Esther 4:16. Stephen certainly thought so (Acts 7:37-38). Paul makes it very clear that true Israel are those whose hearts have been circumcised and not merely those who ethnically related to Abraham (Romans 2:28-29; Galatians 3:7; 6:15-16; Philippians 3:2-6).
