I’m still waiting on the weapon trailers.

Wait... You're saying we could literally hunt monster species out of existence? Pitchforks if they bring Plesioth back then!

I try not to get too wrapped up in the hype, but this is genuinely one of the first games I’ve been excited for in a long time.

It feels like I’ve been waiting for a monster hunter like this since I was a kid playing Freedom Unite with my younger brothers on PSP.

CC: "Every weapon got atleast 1 new attack"

Me: LS got 3 and Lance only got 1 new attack, good to know"

Remember the South Park episode in which Cartman freezes himself so he doesn't have to wait for the new WII? That's how I feel about waiting for MH:Wilds.

Ecosystem wise, it sounds like the guiding lands were a test area for them doing it on a grander scale for Wilds.

I really can't wait for this game to drop. The ecosystem sounds really cool, bringing a bit of real life into a fictional world. Definitely sounds like it'll add to the fun!

Partbreaker + Weakness Exploit... I hope we can damage parts and exploit the weakness. That would be huge.

Like how the graphics are kind of a hybrid between world and rise, looks really cool and everything is still visible

imagine if they added pack mourning to the monsters. u slay a monster and their pack shows up, starts roaring and whimpering, and then takes revenge by going into rage mode and atking you

I feel like Monster Hunter is one of the only franchises left out there that makes massive improvements every single title, they seriously never miss. SO HECKIN HYPED

they have explained the seemless world in a good amount of detail, basically from the village you just walk out the main gate and there you are, in the world. meaning theres alot less, roam "roam town pick up board eat, wait, launch" now its just a matter of eat and hunt

One thing I’ve never seen in the MH series that I think would be pretty cool is to have traps for flying wyvern. We have Shock and Pitfall traps. I think a Sky Trap would be amazing. And maybe something for burrowing monsters. Flash and Sonic bombs are cool. I’d like something more sinister 😈 😂

I'm waiting to see this game, been a fan since Tri, but what I love is that you can just choose a mission > hunt > repeat. I don't know if I'll be on board with this big world due to that, don't want to waste hours doing something else than fighting a big monster.

Yes, I'm looking at you, Ancient Forest.

I want the ecosystem stuff so bad. I know it won't be necessary, but I love the idea of seeing a species of prey monsters in an area they aren't normally located and using that to infer the location of your target. A proper hunt.

I think unless they make a big map that is connected like GTA or sm the closest thing to a seamless world map and locales will be like PSO2 NGS which have what I call "Seamless loading" Meaning that the zones are divided by a sort of loading, but there is no loading screen, you just walk through the invisible layer and the game will load while you keep walking making it as seamless as possible. I'm sure they'll make it look even more seamless by not making the layer or loading bar visible like NGS does, but it's still technically a loading of sorts, you just might not notice it unless the game stutters or something.

As a world HH main I round rise HH a bit too simple, I ended up being a lance main in rise, this change sounds great!
I do hope they do something with switch skills for wilds though, I really liked that feature.

I'm so glad the clutch claw is not coming back. That mechanic was a blemish on an otherwise perfect DLC. Just let me "tenderize" the monster by beating the snot out of it on a specific body part and make that part take extra damage for a little while afterwards as a reward for my skill in fighting the monster instead of giving me a frustratingly buggy tool that just does it for me in an instant and if I don't do it then my damage is garbage and my sharpness is obliterated. Wounding sounds like a nice happy middle.

I think you got it the wrong way with alphas. I don't think the alpha is a bigger stronger version but the beta monsters are smaller and weaker. The alpha is the regular monster you hunt.

3:40 HH main: this news couldn't be any better World IMHO is the best version of horn in any ANY mh game with XX as a close second
