What do you guys think? A hint at no/low Elder Dragons or not? I'm 100% sure there'll be 1 or 2 but I for one wouldn't mind none at all, a focus on Apexs being well... the apex of the game until Master Rank is neat.

Honestly Rise is kinda like that, very few actual Elders until updates.

They didn’t say no elder dragons, they just said there wouldn’t be as much of a focus on them.
This is them pointing at the entire story of world being about the elders crossing. Less of a focus, doesn’t mean none at all. translating is not easy lol

I doubt there won’t be no elder dragons. But I understand them not being a part of the story, and it made sense so many were in world as the whole story was based off the elder crossing.. so it makes sense that there would be a lot.. but I’m curious if we truly would get no elder dragons

If there's none in Wilds, i fully expect them to appear in whatever they call the Master Rank expansion. But if not, oh well. i can fully respect that decision, too.

However, it would be neat to see a herd/pack of Kirin, lol

Elder dragons have been in the series so long that I cannot see a game done without them. But I don’t mind the idea of shifting the story away from them in favor of something else, like “extinct” monsters. Also the PS5pro is a ginormous ripoff, I’ll be fine with the Slim.

They didn't say they won't be in the game just the main story will not focus on them like with world. Seen people happy have with the idea with no elder dragons. but don't realize Elder D are just very strong species of normal monster or rare once

I don’t think there’s a need for underwater combat anymore. The flooding of the forest is definitely high enough, when flooding happens, to fight Lagiacrus in it.

I have always wanted the underwater fights to come back. I loved it. U had lagiacrus who u fought on land/water. Black lagiacrus who was only water. And white lagiacrus who was on land. It was nice.

The steadily increasing possibility of Underwater Combat coming back one day is getting me really hyped man, I slightly teared up seeing that its getting there when I saw this footage

5:21 I was concerned most about this, thinking that My Hammer build armor was just pointless to bring my SnS at all for element damage but hearing that this sounds like a armor loadout swap on top of the weapon swap is *PERFECT*

I seem to recall a food skill in the Gamescom demo that gave the player resistance to hot AND cold weather. I think we might only get 3 zones, with the third zone's weather shifting between extreme heat and extreme cold. Maybe a volcanic locale that has a neutral state with no extreme weather, then the volcano erupts, bringing on extreme heat, and covering some areas in lava making areas inaccessible, or opening new paths, and then once the eruption settles, blankets the zone in ash, blocking out the sun and rapidly cooling the zone, bringing on extreme cold.

I hope we get 4 or 5, but with how massive both zones shown off have been, I can't see them doing 5

It’s understandable for the base game. I’m pretty sure they get added in an update or future expansion that opens up new areas or plots.
