If you don’t have or use filtered water you will want to install the tall handle water filter and I will give you quick, easy, step-by-step instructions on how to install the water filter. These do not come with the Coffee machine and will need to be bought separately. You can use my affiliate links above.

I will show you how to perform a cleansing brew and then you will be ready to use the Keurig K-Slim single-serve coffee maker.

I will also show you how to use the Keurig My K-Cup Universal reusable coffee filter if you want to use your own choice of coffee grounds, instead of store-bought recyclable coffee pods. Again, this does not come with the Coffee machine and will need to be bought separately. You can use my affiliate links above.

The Keurig K-Slim model was released in 2020. It comes with a 46oz removable water reservoir and has 3 cup sizes to choose from 8oz, 10oz, or 12oz.

It takes about 72 seconds to brew a small 8oz coffee and the water temperature reaches between 161-163 degrees Fahrenheit.

The coffee maker can also be used with tea pods and hot chocolate pods.

i used to have a K Compact that I'm now replacing with this model and I'm glad I watched this video. Thank you for letting me know that Keurig has a separate water filter kit that I definitely did not purchase haha

I have this model. Pretty solid. I just wish it would have the 6 ounce setting. Even 8 ounces makes certain pod brands weak in my opinion. I've heard that some even older models had a 4 ounce setting. Great review you did here. I also didn't know they made a water tank filter. I'll be looking into ordering that as well.

IMO, 162F is perfect for me. That's what my machine just made and measured. It's hot enough so that you can only sip it, but not so hot that you're burning your tongue off. ALso, the K-Express you recommend does not have the multistream technology, which this one does have, which means it may not extract as much flavor as this one. Just things to consider.

It don’t work when I use everything time I put the hemisphere thing in it and close it then pick the size then tap the middle button it doesn’t work
