That’s disgusting, I hope that doesn’t happen to my clients but I’m sure I’ll hear about it.

That’s why we have a Medicare agent like yourself that we call anytime we have a question, she has been a great help to us.

The largest crooks in the room are the insurance companies period. I am probably one of the top producing Medicare agents in the country writing over 4000 MAPD’s in 2023 on my own pen. What I can tell you being licensed in 50 states and appointed with every carrier is their captive agents will do and say anything to switch your client out of whatever plan their currently with no regard if better or worse for them. And then the captive agent will file a complaint against the original AOR. ALL insurance carriers do this because there is Zero federal oversight to prevent churning and burning clients like their is in every other financial sector. And your correct this will continue to get worse. Last week Aetna captive agents ran a week long blitz calling all your clients to move them to another plan. And your forgetting the second thing out of the captive agents mouth is..wow would you like to file a complaint ?…. All BS and they get away with murder.

Bait and switch is a classic less-than-ethical way of selling. There should be a book: Games Insurance Companies Play.

Just this past week I received a letter that sounds to be exactly what you're talking about, but I need to check it out deeper.

Thank you for your service. I will be Medicare eligible in April of next year. I am also eligible for VA health care but I am in the lowest priority group so that might not be available in years to come. I will be contacting your firm this time next year for initial guidance and suggestions.

I will be turning 65 this fall 2024 and I’m planning on continuing to work. Do I have to sign up for part D?

You are confusing a “prescription review” as you call it with a Comprehensive Medication Review by a pharmacist with the Part D plan. VERY MISLEADING.
