F1 Driver eats Bodyweight in Korean BBQ!! Ft. Alex Albon

A few months ago we met the Thai British F1 driver Alex Albon at an event and invited him to go out and try some Korean food. Alex is one of only 20 Formula One drivers in the world, and is ranked amongst the very best drivers on the grid. He’s driven for Toro Rosso, Red Bull and most recently for Williams. During the mid-season break he took time out of his busy schedule to meet us at one of my favourite London BBQ spots for some food and a chat.

Not only is Albon killing it at Williams this year but he gives the best interviews of anyone on the grid.

What I love most about this is that Alex Albon made it clear very early on in his career that he HATED doing press. No interviews, no marketing, he just hated being paraded around to perform for people's pleasure. He made it a huge joke with Max Verstappen when he was at RB. He comments that he really doesn't like it, or the spotlight, which is completely fair. So, for me, it's actually amazing to see him actually do content but really truly enjoy himself at the same time. Like, he's actually doing something fun with an amazing, warm & kind host, and because of that you get so much cool inside info. Like, this is probably the best interview I've ever seen Albon do. It's awesome.

It’s really nice to hear when Alex mentioned Yuki about his future dream to own a restaurant. Their friendship is really sweet. You found a great friend when they mentioned your name, even mentioned your biggest dream to other people when you’re not right by their side’s.

Can we just say that Albon is one of the humblest drivers in the grid? You can see that he’s so real and genuine with what he feels. And also when his PR team said, 5 minutes left, and he went “that’s okay”. Such a great person!

I love this crossover!!! SO SO SO incredibly happy for Alex and his achievements as of late. His interview skills are so natural it's almost like he's not in "business" mode everytime he handles interviews.
