I ask myself the question if I believe and live out Vatican 2 can I be divinized and saved. I believe I can. Believing in Vatican 1 or 2 is not enough to get you to heaven but a life lived in Christ bearing the fruits of faith hope and charity which in itself is a fruit of much prayer, the sacraments, fasting and also feeding on The Sacred Scriptures and reading and meditating on the lives of the saints and studying your catechism.How many of us do these ? There are many of our brothers and sisters who are trying to bring the church down using tabloid media behaviour, instead of practising what I have just mentioned. Let us pray for each other, for our Pope, bishops, priests and nuns and all those involved in mission. The Catholic Church is Christ's Church and He will preserve it, He promised He would. Let us become open holy books, a library for a world that is perishing because the Word is not dwelling among them. We cannot blame Vatican 2 for this or the Pope or the bishops but the books that have remained tightly closed.
