So inspiring! I have a rare autoimmune disorder and am crippled by indescribable pain. I am essentially housebound and struggle with simple tasks. So I often feel "irrelevant." But I pray. I pray for individuals; I pray for the Church; I pray for the world. I'm single and live alone - and lately have battled with that loneliness. Then suddenly, Christ redeems my loneliness by reminding me, "It only takes one person to change the world." And I believe prayer changes things. If my pain is meant to be an offering, if my prayer is meant to somehow lead even one person closer to Christ, then so be it. Thank you, Lord, for redeeming my loneliness; for telling me what I offer, is enough.

Having to watch Mass online due to the lockdown, I cry now for hunger of the Eucharist.

As a Protestant I love this message and this intensity of the serious need for witnessing and sharing of the love of God

When they forbade us to have Sunday and daily masses, with the COVID mess, and restricted our numbers I got so hungry for the Eucharist. When the restrictions were reduced, in defiance I started going to mass DAILY. I am lucky to have a job where I can have a flexible work schedule, teleworking some days etc. We should be so thankful to be able to go to mass on Sundays and daily, and pray for those who still cannot go to mass.

I’m a college student who wants to die for Christ! By His Grace! And I hope to find more college students who want to as well!

Watching this in June 2020 and this is accurate now more than ever.
Side note: who else thinks Fr Mike is one of the saints God has raised up in this modern age?

Father Mike is one person that is changing the world! As a college age person, his sense of humor and down to earth nature drew me in to his talks... and now listening to this, wow. Thank you for this great video, and for getting the message out.

I watched the whole talk a few months back, and cried through a few points of it. Especially when he spoke of that man from China, for I saw myself in that story. I was a Eucharistic Minister at my parish back home in NY, and it was got me out of bed in Sunday’s. Especially during one of the most difficult times of my life, it gave me purpose to keep going. But after moving to a new state, I let everything become more important. And sadly, it took almost 15 years for me to wake up and realize it. And watching probably every talk Father Mike has on YouTube, has helped me in my path to restoring that relationship with Christ. The pandemic has the churches closed, but I look forward to the day they open back up. Hopefully soon. Thank you for sharing this, God bless. ✝️🙏

As a passionate Catholic, I am appalled by the way Catholics live (generally) in USA... So lukewarm, so indifferent... It breaks my heart... Look at the countries where the Church is persecuted and you will find numerous committed Catholics, willing to go to any length to attend Mass and avail of the Sacraments... The Church has always grown in the midst of persecution and trouble... If you are comfortable, something is definitely amiss... Kudos to Fr. Mike for pointing this out
