I’m 32 and have two kids. It’s not easy, financially or the sacrifices that need to be made. But nothing is more rewarding and I wouldn’t change it for anything. The point of figuring it out financially when you have kids is actually very true.

Have kids young and force them and you into a situation with bad parents and not enough money or time to support the children or yourself, that's just the kind of stupidity they want you to believe because they want more people they can control. Do things on your own terms not someone elses.

I have a young child and I'm not wealthy, the child is healthy and happy. The idea that kids are expensive is false, if you really think about it a baby only needs breast milk for the the first 6 months to a year of life and it will be healthy. A lot of parents buy formula because moms are not oriented on how to breastfeed properly, studies show that formula fed babies are prone to allergies and other diseases. After that it will start eating food but they eat very little we barely noticed any increase in food costs after the baby was born. Diapers are toxic for the environment and extremely expensive, we bought reusable ones they work great and didn't cost much. I'm successfully switching to a new career thanks to my family for giving me so much love and motivating me every day. Having a child was the biggest bless in my life and not only that it is leading me towards financial success. Be careful with beliefs that others feed into your mind, question them and you can find solutions. They want you to think having kids is expensive to control you, and if you do have kids they wanna sell you unnecessary expensive baby products.

The best thing that can happen in your life, as a well thought and mature decision, is having Children. It is just not always me me but to dedicate your life to help and rise a new generation.

I think people are way too focused on the financial side in the comments. The far more important question is whether you're emotionally mature enough to be a parent. As a teacher, I've been exposed to plenty of young parents who just clearly weren't ready yet.
