This reminds me of a fitting quote that someone said to describe the sense of purposelessness that younger generations today feel… “we were born too late to explore the new world and too early to explore mars. But we’re right on schedule for drag queen story time at the local library.”

This is quite a compelling reason to join your patron: to understand the way forward from a fixation on our lower animalistic nature towards what I suspect is the divine.

That photo of Jesus on the cross being hollow is how people today see him. Hollow. But he is the truth and the saviour.

The incessant creep of workplace safety has eliminated the thrill of risk and has mired it in a plethora of rules regulations and penalties . Making it evermore dreary.

I’m just glad people are waking up.. Maybe too late now as multiple generations are affected but the hope remains.

Modern man is mentally ill because he is obsessed with radical individualism. This channel has contributed to that in a big way with its videos on Nietzsche etc. We are social animals all the way down. Even our reasoning faculty evolved to be most effective dialogically, not monologically. I used to be a regular viewer of this channels content 5 or 6 years ago, but I eventually realised that its regular appeal to radical individualism/absolute autonomy leads to alienation and deep loneliness and is only exacerbating the societal meaning crisis.

no heroic purpose or need for such in this day. Hence, no heroes.

A couple of glitches, but the idea comes across just fine. I enjoy your content, it's not the kind of media to pass the time while multitasking, but thank heavens some thoughtful, well-composed content is out there in never-level land.

Want to be a hero? Volunteer at a homeless shelter. Mentor a fatherless child. Serve your community.

"Transcendence" or "The Sacred", not 'heroism' as most people would understand that word.

There is nothing for men in the west.. for some there is wealth, but many people are not tempted by belongings... For the ones who value moral and human interaction, there is only pain and dissapointment. Everything of value is rotted, a family, wife, morals... its all gone... why to try to achieve anything...

Its the courage to continue that counts, when world is against you, your mind is getting collapsed, you are not able to identify anything but yourself you sleep at wake up after 25 hrs straight and when at this time man decides he will push till all blood goes onto him thats how he pushes hero inside of him out

This concise video presents a thought-provoking analysis of the contemporary human condition. It posits that the lack of heroism in modern society is contributing to a crisis in mental health. The video suggests that while only a few individuals are thriving, many are grappling with character flaws and lifestyles that fuel anxiety disorders, neurotic illnesses, and depression. According to the video, normality is becoming increasingly synonymous with mental illness.

This perspective is intriguing as it challenges the conventional understanding of mental health. It suggests that the absence of heroism, or the scarcity of individuals striving to overcome personal limitations and contribute to the betterment of society, is a significant factor in the prevalence of mental health issues.

The video also prompts us to consider the societal structures and cultural norms that may discourage heroism. It raises questions about whether we, as a society, are doing enough to encourage individuals to strive for greatness and make positive contributions, or whether we are fostering a culture that promotes conformity and discourages individuality.

Moreover, the video invites us to reflect on the definition of 'normality'. If normality is becoming synonymous with mental illness, as the video suggests, it implies that our societal norms and expectations may be contributing to the prevalence of mental health issues.

In conclusion, this video provides a fresh perspective on the mental health crisis and the role of heroism in society. It encourages viewers to reflect on their own lives and consider how they can strive for heroism in their own unique ways. It is a call to action for all of us to not just survive but to truly thrive in our modern world.
