I refuse to watch the new trilogy after knowing how well the story had ended with return of the jedi. This video really makes me see how anakin skywalker was one of the most well written characters in all of science fiction and possibly all of fiction in general.

Hayden's acting was so much better when his dark side came out. The scene where Anakin avenged his mother's death and talks to Padme about it was the best scene in the whole movie.

Like how you emphasised Ahsokas impact. Anakin tributes always seem so empty and lifeless without her. Pretty sure Lucas said she’s basically his little sister and he was keeping himself in check to be a good role model for her. It’s why Anakin in the show is more heroic and caring than in the movies. After she leaves Palpatine had him all to himself to corrupt. You can see his demeanour get darker in the last 2 seasons when Ahsoka isn’t around. It’s a nice setup for Revenge of the Sith.

I’ve always liked the prequels but the Clone Wars is what really saved Anakin as a character. Added some much needed depth. I remember back in 2002-2008 he was considered an absolute joke in the fanbase and a disgrace to Vader’s legacy. Nice to see that perception change over the years with all these new fans who grew up with Clone Wars and the Prequels coming in.

Really excited to see Hayden back in the Kenobi and Ahsoka show’s with the fanbase supporting him this time. Very satisfying for me as someone who’s always liked Anakin.

Star Wars is not about lightsaber fights or galactic shootouts. Star Wars is about Anakin's suffering ever since childhood. Losing everyone he loved along the way. There was no better way to portrait a fallen protector of the peace. Goodjob Lucas and good job SWFT for probably the best tribute to Anakin. A lot of tributes seem to leave Ahsoka out of the story, when in fact she was the perfect character to add depth to Anakin. If only could we get some shows or a movie that explores Davy Jones the same way Clone Wars did for Anakin, the world would be perfect.

It would seem to me that his fate was sealed from the very beginning, everyone he ever loved and cared for was sadly taken away from him....

Rest easy with the Force from when you came Anakin Skywalker, you had an uphill battle against fate, I doubt anyone could have done better.

I choose to remember you as Anakin and not Darth Vader (though he was dope!).

Wow... This was absolutely insane! Safe to say this is one of the best Anakin tributes out. It flowed so well with the music, dialogue and scene selection all blending perfectly together. Loved the inclusion of CW, Rebels & Mando as well. Amazing job man, you killed it!

anakin skywalker has always been my favorite character. not because he is good or bad, but because despite all the machinery, he is human. he made so many mistakes, wrong doings, for what he was coerced into believing was right, what he chose to believe, and yet, in the end, he made a decision to save his son and redeemed himself in the process. he's a complex character and this brilliant video only confirms that. wonderful edit x

I challenge everyone to face the truth that Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader is both the best character and one of the greatest villains ever created over a long period of time for cinema (45 years or so). I'm not gonna lie - a tear fell down by the end. Can't wait for Kenobi series.

The best story ever told. Like George Lucas said, STAR WARS is the story of ANAKIN SKYWALKER and his family. In my personal opinion star wats begins with episode 1 and end with episode 6. Of course star wars offers an entire galaxy of opportunity but nothing will be so powerful and deep and perfect like 1 to 6 saga.
