Regeneration & Progress: Who we are

"Regeneration and Progress" is a Greek-based, non-profit organisation, which implements social programs in the fields of health, sports, education and culture under the scientific and medical supervision of the 1st Orthopedic Clinic of the University of Athens, with an exclusive donation from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF).

The most prominent programs are the “Medical Mobile Units” (MMU) in remote islands and also in mainland Greece, the “Sports Excellence” Centre, a high performance sports Center for talented and young athletes, the “Sports Paths” program to promote the athletic culture for children and adult residents of remote islands in Greece and finally the design and implementation various sports activities at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC) and the organization of racing events, such as SNF RUN event in Athens, Greece.
