You know, my 85 Kenworth and my 98 FLD never had a problem with that. Oh, and they got better fuel mileage even though they were not aerodynamic, I guess having a fuel dumped into an exhaust chamber isn't very efficient.

The results from the new and improved diesel fuel. We have to run now.. Bet that if the old fuel was run instead you probably wouldn’t have as much soot, especially if you were running it in one of the older engines with out all the emissions garbage put on them

Fortunately mine will never get that dirty, a little dusty maybe but never any carbon..

I pay $215 dollars to clean my filter no bake just air even hot water washing if the issue is soot only. I do the uninstall and install DEF isn’t complicated keep system clean air dryer annually # 7 injector, carbon dozer and ach injector dozer clean, inlet & outlet nox sensors. My advice if you can’t turn wrenches don’t own a truck because the technology in new vehicles requires men to educate themselves on repairing and replacing parts. Good luck 12 more payments and I will delete it since I won’t be running California 😅
