Spring has sprung! Literally it seems, as my Indian Chieftain Dark Horse kickstand spring broke. I do not know what caused it to break, but in this video I will be showing you a quick trick for replacing the spring on your Indian motorcycle without removing the entire kickstand. According to the service manual, removing the kickstand is the only way to replace the spring - but I have a sneaky little trick that will help you guys out!

Exact same thing happened to my Roadmaster's spring while sitting in my garage. Only 5 months old. I'm going to carry a spare from now on.
