Hey Sean. I have a donner kit. You can actually cut the symbols by grabbing them. But you have to hit a very precise spot where there is a switch on the front edge. I bought them as a result of you saying how much it improved your rhythm for guitar. Indeed it is true.

When I started really learning guitar bout 5-8 yrs ago I used a ton of your theory videos and other tricks, I need less taught guidance these days, but I still appreciate the gear reviews and the YT shorts are also a nice touch. Thank you for all the lessons

Sounds really decent for the price! Definitely using it as a midi controller is the way to go. There are actually recorded kits that sound great these days. The only thing electronic kits are really missing now is convincing cymbal sound with highs that sound like the real thing. Kind of like the struggle IR acoustic guitar systems have -- they do a great job of sounding like a mic, until you get to the high-end sparkle. Still pretty impressive though.

I got exactly what I wanted from this video. I thought the top left symbol was the high hat I didn’t realize you could hold the left pedal down for a real high hat sound

Does anyone know how to fix it i have it plugged in and theres no sound what so ever and i cant find a video to help

I am a sound tech student, and this is the last thing I need before having an entire band set up in my room. My only question is what does the setup to a physical mixer look like? Is it a cable per drumhead/ cymbal, or can it all be connected via one line out? Trying to figure out if I need to upgrade my mixer to a bigger one to fit this. Thanks

Using a Fender 10G amp in the spare room and wondering what would be a good step up amp.

It's a solid kit. I've always wanted to learn to play drums and bought it. The instructions are great and it's easy to put together. It sounds awesome through headphones. I ran it through a small guitar amp and it can't handle the bass of the kick drum. I'm going to try it through my bass amp. If that doesn't work will try to find a used drum amp. I'm curious how it will sound running through a decent MAC. A similar kit 20 years ago would have run at least 1200 bucks for sure.
