'I Just Killed Two People': Teen Reacts to Swatting Himself Accidentally

The 17-year-old Rainbow Six Siege gamer who called the cops on himself and told them he "killed two people" is speaking publicly for the first time since the incident. Elijah Sierocki joins the Law&Crime Network's Sam Goldberg for an exclusive interview.

⛔️ Glad you’re safe Elijah. Some advice - Whenever you approach Cops, do not carry anything in your hand, especially when they have guns aimed at you. They may perceive it as a weapon.

If this ever happens to you please go outside with NOTHING in your hand. Luckily that phone was a bright color, but if not it could've been mistaken for a weapon. It's happened before. Stay safe y'all ❤️ and thank you to police for that quick response time, and handling the situation perfectly!

I’ve had a similar situation happen too! When I was younger I was in the bathtub playing games on my moms phone while she was sleeping and somehow I accidentally contacted 911. When I realized, I hung up, and the dispatch called me back immediately and I tried to explain that it was not on purpose and that I was playing games and she explained that it’s dangerous to play with electronics in the tub and to give my mom the phone back, which I did and everything ended up being okay. Things like this can happen when you least expect them!

I accidently dialed 911 on an old phone, hung up, and they called back. The woman was actually fantastic. I was a lil upset about something at the time, and I think she could detect it in my voice. She made sure to ask questions like 'Are you able to speak freely right now?', 'Is anyone else listening?', 'Would you be able to say safely if something was wrong?'. This was in Vancouver.

Great attitude from the kid, he knew to stay calm and listen to police and then explain.

This happened to me when i was trying to fix my friends phone at a music festival, i literally had to sprint away from the crowd and let dispatch know everything was okay and the phone was locking me in to call emergency; luckily the person on the other line let me know it was cool and went "are you at ___ music festival?" and I just went "haha yeah" and she just goes "ah okay have fun!"
I'm glad these precautions are put into place, but it's good for officers to keep in mind that these calls can sometimes happen without realizing!

This situation was both scary and funny at the same time. I like how the cop's handled the situation and after they realized what was going on the tried calming the kid down and even tried connecting with him on a personal level. I do hope he can meet up with the cop that asked him what he's favorite operator was and game with him from time to time. Sometimes the strangest situations bring people together.
