The level of self delusion, arrogance and entitlement displayed by so many people these days is breathtaking.

There is absolutely, without a doubt, no reason to ever drive drunk in this day and age. You can literally summon a stranger with your fingertips.

My 5 year old daughter was tragically killed in a senseless drunk driving accident. The man that killed her was going 50 to 60 mph in a school zone at 3:00 p.m. on a school day . He is currently on his fifth DUI conviction, the last one being in a school zone, on a school day, at the same time school was let out. He obviously did not learn his lesson
EDIT: Because her death was so senseless, unnecessary, and avoidable, I was desperate to try and give it some sort of meaning. I do go and speak to high school students about the dangers of driving drunk. I take my daughter's urn with me, a quilt made out of her clothes that my grandma made, and a huge picture of her... her first and last school picture. I start off with saying that these are all of what I have left of my daughter aside from memories. It is seemingly harsh, but I really want these young drivers to understand that driving drunk has real consequences, and sometimes those consequences are an innocent life lost

How do you slam into someone and their vehicle who are PARKED off the edge of the road and wonder how it is YOUR FAULT?

She was a beautiful teacher that didn’t deserve this! Her son will never be the same! I hope he stays in there forever.

When I first heard him talking about his truck, I thought he was the driver of the victims car. My jaw literally hit the floor when the narrator told us he was actually the one responsible for the crash. How utterly disgusting man. He doesnt even care about the people he hurt only his truck. Wow. This world has lost its mind.

To all the people out there that continue to text while driving, your careless disregard for safety is no more justified than this guy, it often ends with the same tragic results.

When he was talking about his stupid truck and saying it’s not his fault I was grossed out. But when he said he hopes they “don’t play victim” I became enraged and repulsed! Absolutely despicable behavior after something so horrific

As a former tow truck operator and a highway tow operator…
NEVER!!! change your tires on the highway!!!
Slow roll your vehicle off the exit to a safe place. Your life is worth more than trying to save a few hundred dollars.
If you must change it, occupants in the vehicle, GET OUT and stay BEHIND the highway crash barriers!!! Or as far away from the roadway as possible.
Every second that you’re out there, is a second closer to death you get or some catastrophic accident waiting to happen.
God bless them and their family! 🙏

When I was about 10 years old, my mother lost her best friend because of a drunk driver, who got her head on as she was just a quarter of a mile from making it home for her baby boy's birthday. The judge dismissed the charges all because he was left paralyzed from the waist down, saying that his wheelchair was enough of a sentence. I'm sorry but he still should've gone to prison.
My heart goes out to all affected by drunk drivers. 💜🌹🤟🏼

I'm permanently disabled with injuries that cause me chronic pain 24/7 from being hit by a hit and run drunk driver. (Later caught.)
It was his 4th DUI. He, like this guy came out without a scratch.
Such a tragedy for these innocent people and their loved ones.My sympathy goes out to them.

My brother was jogging on a joggers trail and a drunk driver drove off the road hitting and killing him. The drunk driver had no remorse. Our family is forever changed. My heart goes out to this family .❤

This is how my uncle died. He was an off duty firefighter driving by a really bad crash. He decided to pull over just to see if they needed any help, started loading a stretcher into an ambulance and a drunk driver slammed into the back killing him.
