All the best with pulling it!
I remember a Sprinter engine with injector no. 4 gone. Sliding puller couldn’t fit, no headroom, hydraulic wouldn’t do it.
Got the engine out and you could lift and hang the engine on that one injector, still wouldn’t come out.
Bigger hydraulic puller then cracked the head.
It was a bigger repair…

Had a 320d once and I got the injectors out by losening the nuts a few turns and then starting the engine and revving it. Probably wouldnt work with really stubborn ones but its always worth a try because it's so simple.

Thanks for sharing your method, but I'm lost. I've never used a megger. Can you help by explaining a bit more? I work on diesel here in the US and most of our injectors are much harder to get to, can you unhook the module and do the test through the harness? When you are sending voltage to the injector with the megger, are you checking between pins 1 and 2 of the injector or looking for the insulation value from a single pin to the engine? What are the indicators of good vs bad when testing?

Have you found that using your method with the megger will show a bad injector when the standard resistance measurement shows a good reading?

Hiya, thanks for your videos must be about 10 year ago I bought my first Autel from your recommendation, could I test the resistance across the 2 pins with a multimeter on injector ? Got a horrible c max 2011 1.6 tdci changed EGR and EGR cooler but still has lots of white smoke and missing but no fault codes - any ideas mate it’s stressing me ? I think injector over fuelling but not sure how to test - or would a leak off test show me ? Cheers for any help 😂

Another easy way to check if the injector is faulty or the ECU/wiring is the issue: Swap the connectors of two injectors over and clear the fault codes -- if the code moves to a different injector, then the injector is defective. If the code remains on the same injector, then it's an issue upstream.

Hi mate love ur videos very informative I also have an issue with my car showing code p0471 changed pressure sensor no lost of power what so ever but the engine light came back up again mechanic said take it to electrician don’t know what to do? I’ve already done 1k miles with no problems but the engine light keeps showing up

What were you connecting to, eg what pin on injector and did you connect black wire from megger to ground ??
