So, would you recommend putting a little ATF in your tank to help clean a diesel sticking injector?

Does anybody know why my 1992 GMC doesn't want to start after as been warm it's not the glow plugs me tested all that has to have something to do with the injector pump the have to cross two wires to get it to fire up when it's been sitting for about 20-30 minutes now the set there and Frankie Frankie Frank

Great video, although ATF is not a lubricant to diesel! It actually increases the amount of wear on the injectors, but it makes a good cleaner. Optilube is the diesel lube additive, I highly recommend checking out the Optilube XL lubricant. It scored the best in wear scar testing independently by a long shot

Great video, brought me back to the days I was learning about diesel engines and how to test their components. But I have to throw in my 2 cents: I was taught there are nozzles and injectors. The difference being a nozzle simply atomizes the fuel, and is what you just tested and called a mechanical injector. An injector was something that can meter the amount of fuel that it was atomizing. Thoughts?

Can you go into more detail on how it shows pop off pressure? or fuel metering?

If you lay on the pressure constantly, could you get a constant spray of fuel, rather than it spraying in short bursts?
